~ Kids in the Kitchen ~ Handmade Pretzels

Participants will learn to make soft pretzels from scratch to include rolling and shaping them.  We'll snack on pretzels and send some home to share.  If time allows, children will make a dipping sauce to go with their pretzels.  Culinary classes at The Makery use only the finest of ingredients to include organic when possible. 

Classes are designed for kids ages 6-10 and is a parent drop-off class.

"I  am the former owner of the Puerto Rican food truck, Boricua en la Luna. I am excited to be able to teach cooking classes for your children. Aside from owning the food truck I have worked at the WSVSD for 7 years. So, merging both of my passions, food & working with children, is truly something I couldn’t pass up. I am excited for this new adventure & can’t wait to get cooking with the kids & sending home some yummy food!"
