Youth Sewing Series

THIS IS A TWO PART SERIES.  Participants will attend Monday - Feb. 26th & Monday - Mar. 4th

Students will be measuring, cutting, pressing, and becoming familiar with a sewing machine.  This class is great for a beginning sewer or kids who have taken a class or two. The finished project will be a drawstring backpack.  In the event of extra time, participants will work on other small sewing projects.  All materials and step by step instruction will be provided. 

Youth sewing classes will be taught by Jodi Petty.  

Jodi loves to create and come up with new ideas. She loves to explore with her hands, she loves color, and she loves to get messy. She loves to take her sketchbooks outside to capture the colors and textures of nature. Her favorite tools are her sewing machine, sharpie pens, watercolors and anything to do with printmaking; including potatoes, carving blocks and gelli plates. You'll find her designs on the past 5 years of the Father Daughter Dance Posters. Jodi is passionate about inspiring kids to create and in the process become artists.

This class is designed for children ages  6-10. This class is a parent drop off class.
