About the event
THIS IS A FOUR PART SERIES. Â Participates will attend every Monday in November!
Participants will practice their sewing skills as they create a different project every week. Â Â The possibilities are endless!! Â Students will be measuring, cutting, pressing, and becoming familiar with a sewing machine. Â This class is suited best for a beginning sewer or kids who have taken a class or two.
Youth sewing classes will be taught by Karen Thompson. Karen is a self taught seamstress and mother of 3. She enjoyed sewing clothing for her children when they were young so much that she turned her hobby into a business, The Amethyst Needle. Karen is looking forward to sharing her passion for sewing with children in the gorge!
